The LCS Calendar for 2024 isn’t just a list of dates. It tells the story of the school year. It starts with Winter Holidays on January 1, giving students and staff a refreshing break. Then, on January 4-5, there’s a Teacher Planning/Inservice Day. This helps teachers get ready for the rest of the term, so they’re prepared for what’s coming.

Return to the Classroom
On January 8, students and staff excitedly circle the date on their calendars, anticipating their return to the classroom. Spring Break and Exam Days
As we move through the calendar, March 11-15 becomes an eagerly awaited Spring Break, giving students and teachers a well-deserved break. Right after the break, on March 18, there’s a day for teachers to plan and get ready for the rest of the term.
From May 22-24, Middle and High School students have their exams, and all students get to leave school a bit early. When May 24 comes around, it’s not just the end of the school year but also the completion of the fourth nine weeks and the second semester. Look at Art Competitions for High School.
